The Electric Step is mounted under the vehicle at the side door The Step is operated by opening the side door via a rocker switch on the B-pillar, or automatically when the door is opened. An acoustic warning tone signals that the electric step has been extended.
The safety step is essential for passangers with reduced mobility. Handles in the area around the door facilitate boarding. All AMF-Bruns safe steps comply with DIN 75078 and cover at least 70 % of the vehicle entrance area.
Attention: If passengers are transported sitting in a wheelchair, there must be a drive-in aid such as an access ramp or lift.
