EPS8016-U Front and Rear Parking Sensors
The front sensors can operate in 2 modes: using odometric signal or using a preset deactivation time. Independently of the mode used, after the switching on of the vehicle, the obstacles are signaled by the speaker and displayed by the LED positioned on it. Depending on the proximity of the obstacle, there are different tones. Obstacles are only detected while the vehicle is in motion and it is possible to change the type of identification.
The rear sensors are activated by acoustic/visible signaling when the reverse gear of the vehicle is engaged. The rear sensors are deactivated when the reverse gear of the vehicle is disengaged. After putting the vehicle in reverse gear, the obstacles are signaled by the speaker and displayed by the LED positioned on it.
WARNING: Even with electronic parking system installed, it is necessary to carefully watch surroundings of the vehicle during maneuvering. The system could not see small obstacles and items with low reflectance.
