MCS P16 Switch Panel is specifically designed for installation into emergency vehicle dashboards or panelling of larger emergency vehicles, such as fire trucks.
MCS P16 has 16 large dual function buttons that are approximately 25% larger than those on a standard switch unit, with appropriate legends and key colours. In a black cast aluminium casing for a long lasting, hard wearing switch unit use. Public aannouncement is implemented using a separate hand held microphone with integral PTT switch.
The switch panel is compatible with a full range of MCS control units.
MCS P16 Switch Panel features:
- 16 large dual-function buttons
- The keys aren’t illuminated when handset is OFF
- Permanent mount only
- For PTT use a separate hand held microphone
- Fully programmable at source and/or by customer
- Each switch can have a multi-function ‘HOT’ key action depending on required function
- 3 intensities of back illumination: low brightness when OFF, high brightness when ON and both levels dimmed at night
- The keys aren’t illuminated when handset is OFF
- Any switch can be programmed to act as PTT when used in conjunction with a PA system
- All configurations compatible with MCS-32, MCS-16, MCS-8
