MCS F5 Switch Unit is primarily designed for permanent mounting into the emergency vehicle dashboard. PTT can be implemented via a separate hand-held microphone with an integral PTT switch.
Mounted using two M4 threaded inserts to facilitate the use of a mounting bracket (not supplied). It can also be fixed directly into the surface.
MCS Handsets are designed to be customisable for individual requirements.
MCS F5 CAN BUS Switch Unitfeatures:
- It comes with 5 small buttons or 4 small buttons and 1 large button
- Every button is user customisable.
- Each switch can have a multi-function ‘HOT’ key action depending on required function
- Small buttons can also have dual functions for increased versatility
- Designed as a flush fit unit for dashboard mounted via a custom made aperture or using M4 inserts on the reverse of the unit.
- Requires a separate microphone for PA use
- 3 intensities of back illumination: low brightness when OFF, high brightness when ON and both levels dimmed at night
- All configurations compatible with MCS-32, MCS-16 and MCS-8 control units
- Adjacent buttons can be combined for dual functions and extra visual impact but this is not recommended for the MCS F5
